Newsflash not news on the Stanley Cup 2008. It is not even theoretically possible to find a nation that would be more nuts about ice hockey than Finland. Furthermore, we Finns have a tendency to collectively capitalize on an individual's achievements and since Valtteri Filppula plays for the Red Wings we all can now proudly say: We did it!

Friendly game of Finnish baseball
A little late on this one but no matter what I wanted to share with the world. Tahko from Hyvinkää are the champions of Finnish baseball (bka pesäpallo). The above clip is from the game #3. A sweet homerun by Simo Eerikäinen.
